Steroids' Unwanted Adverse Effects

Steroids' Unwanted Adverse Effects:

You've been going to the gym every day and putting in a lot of effort. You're drinking protein shakes and eating a lot of chicken, and you're gaining muscle. You seem to be happy. Then you note how quickly the new guy at the gym is growing. He's only been doing it for three months, but he's packing on the pounds like there's no tomorrow. What's going on?

Obviously, he's on steroids, and you're debating whether to throw in the towel or board the train. It's alluring. Why put in so much effort if you're just going to get poor results compared to the competition?

Steroids are clearly effective, but are they worth it? And should they come with a guarantee?

The Nuts and Bolts of Technical Jargon:

There are hundreds of different steroids found in plants, animals, and fungi. Anabolic steroids are steroid hormones that promote muscle development.

Anabolic steroids are a group of natural and synthetic steroid hormones that stimulate tissue and bone cell growth and division. They affect not only muscle tissue but also numerous other organs. The most powerful natural anabolic steroid is testosterone.

Males' testicles and females' ovaries are the main sources of testosterone. It is the primary sex hormone in men. An adult male's body produces about twenty times the amount of testosterone that an adult female's body produces.

Males' testosterone levels gradually rise during puberty, resulting in the following effects:

– Increased libido and duration of erections

– Pubic hair reaches up to the thighs and the umbilicus.

– Hair on the face (sideburns, beard, mustache)

– Hair on the chest, periareolar hair, and perianal hair

– An increased proclivity for aggression or offensive behavior

– The amount of subcutaneous fat in the face decreases.

– Increased muscle mass and strength

– An increase in the volume of one's speech

– The adam's apple's creation

– Spermatogenic tissue growth in the testes, male fertility

– Jaw, forehead, chin, and nose development, as well as remodeling of facial bone contours

– The rib cage extends and the shoulders extend.

The Perils:

Anabolic steroid side effects differ depending on the medication, dose, length of use, and individual susceptibility and reaction.

To be honest, there are more steroid-related stories and theories than you can shake a stick at. Extreme acne, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, impotence, and mood swings are among the more common and known side effects.

So, if you think you can handle it, you're good to go... No, not at all.

Aside from the shrinking testicles, people who take high doses (such as those needed for muscle gain) may lose control of their emotions, becoming irritable and violent. Little things can make them enraged to the point of hysteria. This is referred to as "roid rage."

The data about the impact of anabolic steroids on the mind was analyzed in a case study published in the Australian Medical Journal (165:222-26).

The case involved a 29-year-old bodybuilder who allegedly beat his wife to death with a claw hammer. His four children were in another part of the house when he committed this heinous crime. He then turned around and shot himself in the head. His home life had been characterized as "happy" prior to this incident.

This guy had been using steroids on and off for years, and seven weeks prior to the murder, he had used a steroid stack consisting of injectable steroids Winstrol-V and Sustanon. He also used Valium, a muscle relaxant and anti-anxiety medication, according to a later urine examination.

This isn't to say that if you take steroids, you'll lose your mind and transform into an enraged Incredible Hulk. It does, however, raise red flags.

More Bad News – The issues don't go away until you stop taking roids. Steroid users can develop a dependency on the drugs. When they avoid using, they will experience withdrawal symptoms. They can experience nausea, headaches, excessive sweating, dizziness, and depression.

They're still illegal – (in case you didn't know):

Steroids are legal for veterinarians and physicians to use, but selling or buying them on the street is prohibited. When steroids are sold on the street or in a gym, they are often combined with other substances, putting your health at risk.

Steroids are also prohibited in most amateur and professional sports, including the Olympics. Several Olympic medals have been stripped from athletes who were discovered to have used steroids to bulk up.

Are they Reliable:

Steroids can, without a doubt, increase your muscle mass.

That doesn't mean your chest and biceps would be the first to pop out of your shirt. In some situations, users saw very little improvement on their chest while seeing huge gains on their shoulders and traps. Who else wants to be the hunchback of the future? I'm not one of them.
